A leading provider of specialist learning disability services is now looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the team at their residential village, where adults who have learning disabilities, often alongside ASD and other complex needs, are supported to live independently and stay engaged with the community on their own terms.
Their mission is to enhance the lives of the people they support by focusing on their individual needs, strengths and aspirations.
The organisation places great emphasis on its cohesive model of care, and you will be able to work closely alongside psychologists, speech therapists, behaviour therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide the right support at the right time for each resident.
This is a permanent, full-time role - Mon-Fri, 37.5h/week, no weekends or late finishes required.
Person specification:
- You will have valid registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
- Clinical experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, ASD, and associated challenging behaviours is preferred but not essential.
